IN MEMORY OF OUR FOUNDER

Tom “Running Bear” Smith was a Native American from the Western Tribe of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. When he began Tom Smith Industries, Inc. in 1981, he built the company based on the beliefs of his ancestors: always give more than you take.

Over the next twenty-five years, as his business prospered, he continued to run the company with this same mantra. His granddaughter, Tarra continues to operate the company with the same determination, commitment, ideology, and values set forth by Tom.

His service and support of many organizations reflected his commitment to minority and women-owned businesses. His word was said to be his bond; today, TSI offers you no less.
