We are a Native American owned company located in Clayton, Ohio.  This location was constructed in 1994, and is close to the intersection of Interstate Highways 70 and 75, and the Dayton, Ohio International Airport.  Our location enables us to service our customers' shipping needs efficiently, thus keeping their shipping costs low.

Tom Smith Industries was incorporated and started doing business on January 1, 1981 by Thomas R. Smith, Sr., Owner and Chief Executive Officer. Tom's experience started in 1959 while obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Pittsburgh. This includes hands-on experience in various positions from machine operator, job setter, foreman, general molding foreman, tool and die designer, part design, engineer, plant manager, general administrative management, corporate management and previous co-owner of another company.

Our customer list includes many Fortune 500 companies, and other smaller companies.  The fact that they have remained customers and have awarded us additional business is a testimonial to their confidence in our company.

We have experience molding the latest state-of-the-art engineered materials.  Conforming to these important qualities enables us to assist our customers by making recommendations on suitable materials that provide dimensional stability and compliance to reliability standards.

Our manufacturing area consists of 90,000 square feet.  We presently have 27 plastic injection molding machines with all the necessary support equipment to mold our customer's parts to the highest standards using fully qualified personnel, and quality operating systems developed through ISO 9001/TS 16949:2002 certification which TSi achieved in November of 1997.
