Machine Operator (Positions available on all shifts)

First Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday

Second Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday

Third Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Monday through Friday

This is an entry-level position. All training will be provided. No experience necessary. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  1. Operates injection molding machines and all necessary support equipment to meet production schedules and maintain required customer quality standards while following internal policies and procedures.
  2. Maintains and operates in a safe and clean work environment while complying with industry 5S standards to increase operational efficiencies and OSHA regulations to reduce workplace injuries.
  3. Effectively communicates job assignment, work instruction, and job-specific problems with the oncoming shift to ensure an efficient transition to meet production requirements.

Maintenance Technician

Monday to Friday

This is an hourly position, reporting to the Plant Engineer. Pre-employment screenings may include a drug screen and background check.

Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production and support equipment while assisting in determining the root cause of process deviations and machine performance.

Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  1. Troubleshoots and repairs production and support equipment and performs preventative maintenance to ensure machine up time.
  2. Assist Production Support personnel with determining the root cause of process deviations and machine performance.
  3. Continually assess current production floor conditions, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement countermeasures to alleviate problems with minimal impact to other non-production areas of accountability.
  4. Maintain compliance with organizational 5S standards, to increase operational efficiencies and OSHA regulations, to reduce workplace injuries.

Job Setter

Production Hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm – Monday to Friday

This is an hourly position, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. Pre-employment screenings may include a drug screen and background check.

Job Summary: 

Ensures proper installation of molds into injection molding machines and sets up all necessary support equipment to meet production schedules and maintain required quality while following all internal policies and procedures.

 

Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Properly set up molds and work areas to meet customer and production demands while maintaining a clean and organized work area to reduce workplace injury.
  2. Ensures molds are cleaned, identified, properly relocated, and stored for easy accessibility and reports damages as discovered to maintain mold life.
  3. Ensures all work areas are clean and organized and free of tools and equipment from previous jobs.
  4. Reviews and updates processing records, watering diagrams, and set-up sheets for accuracy and completion to ensure production efficiencies.

Material Handler

Job Summary: 

The material handler is an entry level position reporting to the shift supervisor.  The material handler is responsible for monitoring material levels in the injection mold machines and all necessary support equipment to meet production schedules and maintain required quality standards.  The material handler is also responsible for following all internal policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment to minimize workplace injuries.

 

Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  1. Ensure proper staging and movement of materials according to work order requirements and updates inventory to ensure availability of raw materials.
  2.  Maintains staging, dryer, mixing areas and workstations to ensure they are free of contamination and hazards.
  3. Moves finished goods from the production floor to shipping to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Process Technician

Third Shift: 10 pm to 6:30 am – Monday to Friday

This is an hourly position, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. Pre-employment screenings may include a drug screen and background check.

Job Summary: 

The process manager’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of production, customer service, and quality, while maintaining compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. The role of a process manager is to be responsible for the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes of the injection mold machine. Injection molding process managers oversee all aspects of an injection molding process, including the set-up, operation, and repair of injection molding tools, equipment, and materials. The main duties are to prepare and produce injection-molded components to specification and ensure their quality. Issues discovered in the production process or products that don’t meet specific standards, should be resolved in this capacity. If they persist, they must be communicated to engineers and QA technicians. Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned, as required.

  1. Establish, control and improve existing injection molding and assembly processes to ensure stable and quality customer product.
  2.  Perform quality-engineering studies, as necessary to respond to internal or external part or process non-conformities.
  3.  Adhere to quality system requirements and focus on continuous improvement in relationship to our process set-ups and their maintenance.
  4. Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to maintain high quality standards and minimize or eliminate process deviations and non-conforming product; validate conformance to direct set-up, specifications and adjustments of various machines while adhering to organizational quality management system.
  5. Ensures duties, responsibilities, authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
