Quality Engineer Assistant / Apprentice
First Shift: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday
This is an entry-level, salary position. All training will be provided. No experience necessary. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer Assistant or Apprentice to support senior quality engineering and production, and quality assurance teams by ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This is an entry-level position focusing on hands-on inspections, documentation, and assisting with continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspections and Testing: Perform pre-production, in-process, incoming, or final inspections using various methods and instruments, and conduct product tests to check for defects.
- Documentation: Maintain quality records, generate reports, document non-conformances, and update quality documentation.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement, Corrective & Preventive Action implementation, and root cause analysis.
- Production Support: Support production teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Auditing: Participate in internal quality audits and support external and customer audits.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical tools to help analyze manufacturing data and monitor quality trends.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing) or relevant field. Apprenticeships may accept technical diplomas or relevant work experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949), measurement tools, and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, etc.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with quality management software is preferred.
This specific position is open to an Apprenticeship, which would focus on shadowing a senior engineer who provides mentorship for a period of 6-12 months. Additionally, the position would offer the following:

Tooling Manager
First Shift: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday
This is a management-level, salary position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
We are looking for a Tooling Manager to support production and engineering teams by ensuring tooling meets quality standards and customer-specific requirements. The Tooling Manager oversees predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all tooling, fixtures, and other special equipment required to meet and maintain customer specifications while ensuring cost efficiency. The Tooling Manager supervises the Mold Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspections and Repairs: Perform and oversee secondary repairs and maintenance operations for continued mold performance to job and customer specifications.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to department team members to complete assigned mold and tool projects to ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement, Corrective & Preventive Action implementation, and root cause analysis.
- Production Support: Support production teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Auditing: Participate in internal quality audits and support external and customer audits.
- Data Analysis: Analyzes tooling life cycle, identifies opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, system enhancement, and maintains preventive maintenance schedules to prolong and ensure mold life.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience: A minimum of ten years of experience as a Journeyman mold maker and/or design engineer with five years of previous experience as a tool shop manager, required.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949), measurement tools, and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, etc.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with quality management software is preferred.

Machine Operator
First Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday
Second Shift: 2:30 pm to 12:30 am Monday through Thursday
This is an entry-level, hourly position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
We are looking for machine operators to support production by ensuring the finished product meets quality standards and customer-specific requirements. The machine operator oversees line-level quality, visual inspection, and verifies proper labeling and packaging at the work center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspections: Performs visual inspection for each job based on work instructions and customer-required specifications.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and root cause analysis.
- Production Support: Support production teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Auditing: Participate in internal quality audits and support external and customer audits.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience: None required, experience in a plastic injection molding facility preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949), measurement tools, preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Software Skills: None required.
- Math Skills: Add and subtract up to four-digit numbers, perform basic multiplication and division.

Job Setter
First Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday
This is a mid-level, hourly position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
We are looking for a job setter to support production by ensuring the proper and safe installation of molds into the Plastic Injection Molding Machine, completing the setup of any necessary secondary equipment, and relocating molds to their designated area for storage until their next use. This position works in conjunction with the Assistant Process Manager(s) and Process Manager(s) to complete necessary changeover assignments based on the production schedule while following all internal policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Safely installs molds into molding machines based on the production schedule or customer demand.
- Maintenance: Cleans & removes molds to prepare them for storage until their next use.
- Preventive Maintenance: Identifies molds that need repair, places them in the designated area for Tool Shop for maintenance, and completes order repair documentation.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience with Plastic Injection Molding. Job Set-up required, strong mechanical ability preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949), preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Software Skills: None required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
